Vicky Medd: PRESIDENT Solicitor at Ridley & Hall Solicitors in Huddersfield Vicky Medd is head of the Ridley & Hall Family Law Huddersfield and Barnsley teams. She is a solicitor with over 30 years of experience exclusively in family work. She specialises particularly on finances within divorce proceedings, and has a lot of experience of dealing with small and medium sized business assets, disputes about matrimonial and non matrimonial assets and pre nuptial agreements. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist specialising in finances and children.As a family mediator Vicky works with couples to try and achieve agreed outcomes that work for both of them, and tries hard to navigate clients through complex financial negotiations. Vicky is a member of the Family Mediators Association. She is also a Foundation Training Course Assessor for the Family Mediation Council.Vicky is also the first solicitor in Huddersfield and Barnsley to train as a Resolution Together solicitor providing our Working Together: Divorce & Separation with ‘One couple, One Lawyer’ service. She recognises that a lot of clients want to work together to achieve outcomes that suit them both, but that they may want advice on difficult areas together. There is a rigorous scoping procedure for these cases, but Vicky has had 100% positive outcomes on these cases in the last two years.Vicky is married with two grown up children. She loves walking her two golden retrievers Ringo and Rolo, who love nothing more than a wallow in a muddy puddle.
